They are not accredited anymore for the online program. Just the ones that are already in the program may proceed. They are not excepting new students for distance learning. Im at the end trying to pass my exit ATI and that what has been so challenging and time consuming. Since there are so many test dates and locations available take exit exam it makes it take longer. I find the remedial class a big joke. not helpful at all. same with this program you are on your own.

you dont have to buy the bundle itself. you can buy the books individually by searching the isbn # if u have questions letme know.

jesse, the computer class is mandatory its pretty basic. just stay on top of the modules each week and youll pass. you will need a web cam for future classes. there will be some exams that are proctored by a live person in which the exams that are proctored will cost u $25 each. they do this so there is no cheating. after the first couple of classes all exams will be proctored. im just ahead of you patho and health assessment courses. the computer class is easy just stay with it and dont fall behind if you have time work ahead. it goes by quick. every day is a learning proces.

go for it. dont let someone's experience become your own. applying is a start. its probably one of the better option available not only in cost but with your personal schedule and family life. im doing it as well.

patho is difficult because u are it. no direction no study guide. read read read. health assessment is busy but doable. kinda like the computer class will be.

what facilities are partnered with lamar state for clinicals. my place of employment is taking to long to decide if they will allow me to do mine there. so im looking for any input dallas, tyler longview whereever. willing to drive to new employment so i will able to complete my clinicals when it comes time next year.

clinicals is toward the end of program for ten weeks. your employer will sign a partnership with the college allowing you to perform your clincials at their facility under the supervision of Rn preceptor. more info on that will be given soon.

congrats! we will recieve our syllabus the first day of class then will be able to plan out how spend time studying, working etc. whats you questions??? i spoke directly to instructor/progrsm directorwhen icalled inquring about the program, i believe i asked 20+?s in a matter of 5 minutes. so what area of texas are you from? if you dont mind me aking. im from east texas.

I queen2bee, i cant recall that you have to be a lvn for 6 months to apply, you could call and ask, or check the website to find out for sure. You have to be working as lvn to do clinicals. since clinicals will be done at your place of employment inwhich your employer has to agree your allowed to do your clinicals at that facility with a Rn or Rnbsn with one yr plus experience. They recommend for you to work at least partime. If you have this set up yet, you sill can apply, but try getting things lined up.

accepted. paid tuition. got books etc. did my part, whats the next step besides logging in, kinda feel as if im in the dark. do we get a sylabus or what?

I got my letter for April class, but since I wanted to start in June since it flowed better with my schedule I'm just waiting on new letter. Got my books for the first class. Hope that's all we need,.don't know about certain computer programs/software.
