    Thanks for all the useful information. I would like to get malpractice insurance, but a lot of the websites I visited do not offer the insurance due to working in a correctional facility. Is there anyone who works in a correctional facility in California have it? If so, what company (website info) did you use

    Hello! I have posed this question on the LVN forum and did not realize there was a separate forum for correctional nursing. Anyhoo, I have read some of the threads, but did not seem to find info on malpractice insurance for correctional nurses. Is this something that most of you have? If you do, is there any info that you can pass along such as website, etc. I looked into NSO and they do not offer to nurses who work in a correctional facility. I start my first day this upcoming week and any info would help. Thanks in advance.
