  1. I am not at W. Cobb. I love the company, the training is very intense, but well worth it, and they really take the time to easy you into the system. If you get the chance to work for Kaiser, I say GO for IT!!!
  2. They started my off around $17.50, with full benefits (med, dental, eye, pd holidays) from day 1. I feel so blessed to be a part of the team now!
  3. Hi, I am new to Atlanta and a new LPN...got hired today by Kaiser P and am very excited! Sounds like a great place to work.
  4. I am 51, just started nursing school, and will get my LPN in Sept '09! Lovin' every minute of it! I plan to go on to RN while working, and continue working in the medical field until I am 70. Go for it!
  5. Yes, that is pretty steep! That is 17k for tuition and 18K to make ends meet while I am in school for a year. The good part is I can start school in 2 wks. I was having a very difficult time getting some answers from Orlando Tech, and the women answering the phone were very rude. Has anyone gone to Americare?
  6. That figure includes a loan of 18k for living expenses while I am at school. I don't think I can work while attending school full time. The tuition is 17k. Has anyone been to Americare that can give some feedback? I have tried to call Orlando Tech several times and have been treated very rudely over the phone.
  7. I have been accepted at Americare School of Nursing, and am awaiting FinAid okay. Getting nervous about the cost of this school, as I will be borrowing all the tuition and living expenses for the year (35k). Am I getting in too deep, and perhaps should go to Orlando Tech? I am 50yrs young and don't have time to go the VCC route, and am planning on moving right to the RN track as soon as I am employed as a LPN. Any feedback would be appreciated!
