This may be a redundant post but... I need help asap.. We are having a career fair exhibit and I'm wondering where can I find a decent site that has salary surveys of nurses just about in any part of the globe? Thanks!!! ps. the latest surveys pls... 2002-2004 THANKS!

Sanchai - bet i know which country u are...the land where the best nurses are (!) well, i think the issue sprung from the fact that in our country, most doctors treat nurses as lower than they are - and now that they (MD's) are shifting to be nurses for the gold - some nurses are just rejoicing that finally those big bullies are getting a dose of their own medicine... so now - u know how frustrating it is when you cant understand a doctor's handwriting (!) you see? theres a joke going that to be a nurse, you have to be a doctor first.... hehe... ps. i would have wanted to be a doctor....

i was a preemie. barely 7 months old. weighing 2.2 lbs, stayed 45 days incubator and 1 month in nursery. after 20 years i also got a chance to care for a preemie weighing 1 700 grams with some complications... and sort of felt like connected to her... it was hard to care for her cuz there are times she'd get really close to sayin goodbye - but i told her not to give up cuz i didn't...if i survived she will and she DID ! after two weeks she was put in the well baby room! i loved that baby... she was a real fighter.

Amen to the above statements. Especially if ur patient is in a depressive mood - it's so hard to get something out....this is a good practice for would be creative writers! i loved praticals tho...i enjoyed it... patho always sucks... it makes me crazy esp. the fluid and lytes

im sorry it happened to you.... i got pricked in the OR once with a used needle - damn.... nothing worst came out of it tho... i hope no more of it... id rather have my fingers cut thank you very much

i kindof like and hated the OR at the same time. it's fun but the tension is just enough to take the fun out of it. i was kindog shOcked seeing my patients in regional anesth wriggling or something - EWWW that was creepy...since im soo used to having them sliced up half dead! i like NICU though... i despise the Isolation rooms.
