  1. Hey, :nuke: It is nice to know meet someone who will be my future classmate. Yes, I will be going to the orientation this monday. I am excited. I know I stopped by the bookstore last week and the women there told me first semester books will cost you a 1,000.:uhoh21: Just wanted to give you a heads up because I almost fell over when she told me. She did say though we will use the books throught the program. Also, spring 2009 Asn classes are posted on the Queens site. Just in case you wanted to look at it. Did you finish your other classes? Bec
  2. Hey Pinkdragon, I am starting Queens Asn program this spring 09. Are you starting too?
  3. Hey, It is very competitive in charlotte for nursing programs. I have been trying for a year to get into a program and just got accepted. Ok.. carolinas college of health and science and mercy want good sat scores. Actually carolina college of health and science has a mini too apply. Cpcc is based on the Teas test and your three science grades, thats it. Presbyterian looks at prequisites of required courses needed for your asn or bsn. Also, cna cerf. and cpr cerf. is a big boost. Don't worry about previous classes just as long as you do well in the prerequisites. You seem to be on a good track with raises your gpa. You will be fine. I was in your place a year ago but it worked out. Good Luck!!!
  4. The application was due today for Queens. Yes, I already took the cna class. It was good. I took it at Spcc. It was also cheap too. I passed the test cna exam so now I am cna cerf. In the cna class they have a one cpr class. After you are cpr ceft. Which is great. You should try there too. If carolinas college of health and science refunds your money if you work for them, that is great too. I did not know that.
  5. Hey redshott, I also applied to the spring 09 asn program at Queens. I am also completing my prereq's this fall at cpcc. Did you apply already? Do you know how students they accept??
