The agency I moonlight with on my off-days only have Peds cases, I started scared but I love it too much now..I'm considering dropping Geri for Peds next year!!!
Just believe in what you were taught, respect employer's policies, do the right things (ethics supercedes anything), don't mess around with 'em female nurses (gets you thrown out the door fast), follow the 5 drugs administration rules, pray to what you belief in and you will be good... GOODLUCK DUDE!!!
Rhode Island and Connecticut pay higher than California and the cost of living here in RI is not bad...A 2 family house cost between 250 or 300 grand...Do the math people!!!
True to what you said traumaRUs, it seems you are setting yourself up to fail. Three jobs in 10 months and it seems you are not comfortable with your skills yet. Advice will be that you work at a facility for a long time to fully understand how the system works...
