  1. Good to hear that a lot of your previous credits could transfer! I'm sure you know that LCC's admission works with a point system. The more points you have, the better your chances :) I'm not sure of the actual number of applicants to the program, but the schools recently started a part-time program so more people get a chance to get started. That increased the number of 1st semester students by 30ish. Good luck!! And if you have any questions, let me know :)
  2. Hi Jen. I am a first-semester student currently at LCC. I'm really enjoying it at the moment (says Gen as she avoids studying for her test tomorrow). How far along are you with your pre-reqs? I found that getting in wasn't hard because I had all of my co-req classes done when I applied (like physiology, micro, etc). Most of the people in the program have all of those classes out of the way. Got any other questions? I'll try to answer them :)
  3. I learned Apical last week and it made me nervous at first. I figured that I'd just count the pulse the way I felt worked best for me, and like you were saying it was "ah one ah two" etc. It works, and you DO sound like a doofus, but it works. You dont necessarily have to say it OUT LOUD :) Hope that was some help :) Good luck!! Gen
