Can a LPN mix IV Rocephin in a bag of Dextrose 5%. We were taught that we are prohibited from mixing. Then i read the nursing laws and it said except preparing or reconstituting an antibiotic additive which is permitted.

There is no policy for this at my work and i went to the administrator and she isnt sure she is also trying to figure out this out.
