  1. The location for my exam is: On The Park (Centennial Hall) 1095 Leslie Street (Leslie and Eglinton) M3C 2J7 Anyone know the best way to get to that location ? Thanks
  2. Hi Guys, I'm sitting the CRNE in Toronto, i think the examination area is around Leslie and Eglington... I was wondering if anyone else was sitting the exam in that area? I've only just moved to Toronto and although I know downtown relatively well anywhere outside that and i'm lost!!! Anyone know the best way to get to it from downtown? I believe i could get the subway to Eglington and then the 100 bus... Thanks :)
  3. Hello, Does anyone know if the online readiness test has rotating questions or is it simply the same 100 each time ?? Would be great if i could get a definative answer. thank you
  4. Hi I am talking about the online test which is always a set 100 questions. Does anyone know if the online test from the CRNE has different questions each time you take it is it always the same 100?? Thanks again
  5. Hi Guys, I have previously taken the CRNE Readiness Test and got quite a good score (considering i have not yet started studying the prep guide) I am just wondering if the questions in the test change each time it is taken or is it a set 100 as i would like to re-take the test but don't see much point if it is just the exact same questions?? The site hints at the fact it is just a standard 100 but does not state for certain so i would appreciate it if someone else had done the test more than once and could shed light on the subject. Thanks in advance
  6. Hi Guys, I am currently an international student and have been registered to write the CRNE exam in October. Now i am just about to submit my Work Permit application, however i need to know if it is possible to apply for Temp Registration without holding a valid Work Permit ?? OR Do i need to have a valid Work Permit before gaining a Temp Registration ?? On the CNO website it states that you cant have Registration without a work permit so i just need to know about the Temporary Registration in Ontario. Thanks in advance
  7. Hi, At the moment the immigration medical web page is down http://www.canada.org.uk/visa-info/general/Medical.htm Typical !!! So i remember reading that a TWP with medical will take 4-12 so does that mean that the application is being processed while i am getting the medical (as London will already have the forms) OR Do the papers just sit collecting dust untill all the details are present ?? Also is it possible to send most of the papers to london and then send additional informatin later (we are trying to get some qualification forms printed officialy) ?? Thanks again :redpinkhe
  8. Thanks RGN1, Yes i have been aproved by the CNO. I am aware of the procedure now, the problem is that we were told alot of mis-information, this forum and the CIC website has finally brought evrything together. So we need to: 1. Get the lmo (in process) 2. Submit the lmo with job offer and whole bunch of stuff to London (CIC) 3. Get medical forms from London and then get medical 4. Send medical info down to london and wait *********** 4-12 weeks later ************** 5. receive pre-aproval TWP from london and finally get to Canada
  9. Hi guys, I am currently applying for an LMO in Canada base on a firm job offer from a hospital there (woohoo) However i am aware that i will need a medical and need to ask a few questions. As I am applying for a TWP and by-passing the London office (by applying at port of entry) do i need to get the medical sent down to the CIC just so they can send it back to me and say it is all there ?? i really do not want to have to wait 4-12 weeks just for a medical as no other papers are getting processed by London (As i have an immigration lawyer) Thanks in advance :loveya:
  10. We know where the specific CIC credited doctor is (actually only 10 mins from our house) but we want to know if you can simple get them to complete the medical and take that to the port of entry instead of them sending it down to London just to get sent back to us (as we are not planning to submit anything to the London office)??
  11. As far as i am aware Applying through London is simply to get the thumbs up that you have all of the info ready for applying at the airport. However i am bypassing the London office as we have an immigration lawyer so all of our forms should be correct. What i want to know is: 1. can we simply get the medical from the doctor and present it at the port of entry ?? 2. Will this cut down on the time scale as we are not waiting for London to say "yeah its all present and correct" ?? cheers
  12. Hi Guys, thanks allot for your help so far but we are applying at the port of entry and so shouldn't have this 2-6 month wait. Does anyone know how applying at the airport in Canada changes the time frame for getting a medical as surely it shouldn't take that long to just get the medical opinion ??
  13. Yeah i have a degree and have a firm job offer, However i have now been told that we need to have a police check and medical AFTER we have received the LMO acceptance. Is this true or should we follow the CIC website that states that the police checks need to be completed no more than 3 months before we submit our application (at port of entry) ? Also is a medical needed for a temporary work permit in Ontario ??
  14. We are moving to Toronto Canada in July and so am just trying to get all the info for the Temp Permit. Does anyone know if a Disclosure Scotland form counts as a police check as we both live in scotland ??? Not that anbything is going to show up its just the time element
  15. Hi guys, I was wondering when (once i finally find a job) i am applying for a temporary work permit at port of entry will i need a police check ?? I live in scotland and have been told that it will not be needed, only for a permanent residency but is this true ?? Thanks allot :-)
