  1. Out of curiosity, are you a CRNA? Have you ever been involved with the admission of students to a program? Are you aware of what criteria are considered? I hope with your attitude you are not considering being a CRNA. You sound like this person was admitted and you were not and you are a wee bit jealous.
  2. The AANAs standards for admission into a CRNA program actually say \"ONE YEAR OF ACUTE CARE\"... for example the US ARMY GPAN will admit an OR nurse and send them to an ICU for about 6 months.
  3. The MDA was dead wrong,, anesthesia and ancillary drugs cause more nausea than the surgery does.
  4. Yes,, I would do this job EVEN if I was paid what I made as an ICU nurse. Period It is the best job in nursing. For the record, 100K is a bit low in most locations for a new grad.
