I'm looking to start traveling, but I want to travel as a post partum nurse. one of my recruiters tells me that there are only a few post partum travel opportunities. I do have 2 years of med/ surg experience but I don't want to travel as a med/surg nurse. My recruiter says I should consider it if I want to work consistently. Is it just this agency or have any of you found this post partum shortage to be true?
I've been trying to decide which agency to go with...this is my first time. I am between american mobile, access nurses, and MSN inteli staff travel. Pay is not the most important aspect for me...though it is almost at the top of my list. my priority is finding a company that looks out for their nurses and that treats them like more than 'worker ants'
