  1. Thanks KarenG. for the reply. I'm laughing as I type this because If I was asked what an average day would be like for me, my reply would be similar to yours. There is no average day! I should have rephrased the question. What happened at your work today. Just curious. Thanks
  2. Thanks for the info IVANH3. Everything you said sounds great. I've got a couple of friends that are RN's and both love their jobs. Both told me that getting through nursing school will be tough since I do not have a strong science background. Thanks again
  3. I want to know what an average day would be like working as a nurse. From the time you clock in to the time you clock out. Day shift, night shift doesn't matter just curious. Thanks.
  4. Thanks everyone for the replies. I've got a few applications out already (colleges) and am hoping to get in for fall 08. The reasons for wanting to do this are, helping people, learning new ways to treat people (learning medical stuff has always been an interest), and yeah making a few more dollars would be nice to. Thanks again!
  5. I'm thinking about a career change. Is there anyone here that has changed careers from law enforcement to nursing? If so, can you shed some light on the transition, what to expect? I've got a B.S. in C.J.. Thanks
