  1. LCDR Dan, I am currently stationed in New Orleans. We don't have a military hospital here, just a few clinics. Do you think not having hospital volunteer work will hurt me? Thank you for the information, Bries
  2. Hello everyone! I am active duty, and I am applying for MECP for the first time this year. I understand this is a highly competive program. I am still in the process of completing my package. I was wondering if anyone knew about how many people apply for the program each year. I see the selection message every year, but we never know how many people actually applied. I am very nervous. Also, does anyone know what exactly they are looking for in our applications? I have volunteer work (not in a hospital), great evals, and I am working on my personal statement now (that's the tough one, I've been told you don't want to be too personal). If anyone help I appreciate it in advance! Bries
