  1. Hello everyone! I just finished up my 1st year in nursing school. I am a single mother of a very needy 8 year old boy. After I graduate, I plan on gaining more experience on a Med Surg floor and then move on to Home Health. I believe I will have more say of my schedule when I do move to Home Health nursing. Is that true? How long do I need to work on a Med Surg floor before switching to Home Health. How does the HH pay go? Do they pay for mileage and are there bonuses? Are there benefits? How about working holidays? The idea of working one on one with patients with hardly any interruptions (like in a hospital) seems very rewarding. Please someone reply, Julie :heartbeat
