Gadsden State Fall 2011????
I'm in a similar situation to a lot of you. I'm planning to apply for Fall 2012 at Gadsden State, Southern Union, CACC, and maybe Jacksonville State (for BSN). I took the TEAS last week and scored 70%. BIO 201 - B, BIO 202 - B, Math-A. I am planning to take MICRO in the Fall. If I make an A in MICRO I should have around 186 points total. I don't know if this is good enough or even close. Does anyone know. Should I try to retake the TEAS or even one of my Anatomy courses to get the points up. Thanks!

Jeff State and Gadsden State points question
Hey guys! I'm planning to apply for the part time program at Jeff State and the full time at Gadsden State. I have B's in both Anatomy and Physiology I and II, A's in the Math and Eng courses and still have to take the TEAS. I know how competitive it is particularly at Jeff State and that the B's may not cut it. So, I am trying to decide if I should retake one of the A&P's, make an A this time OR go ahead and take Microbiology instead. I've been told that MICRO is more difficult so I don't know that I would fair any better, but I'm confident that I could make an A in the A&P. I have a BS in a non nursing field, so this will be a second degree for me. I am leaning more towards the community college route for the sake of saving money and maybe some time. However, I'm very interested in the BSN programs at Samford and Jacksonville State. I plan to do the BSN later anyway. But, right now I just want to get into a program and get started. Which do you think would be the smarter way to go, all things considered. What would you do? I'm sure someone on here is in the same position and I could use some advice :) Thanks so much!

Already have a B.S. what's next AD or the BSN?
I'm 28, graduated from Auburn in 2004 with degree in Health Promotion. I have been working as a customer service associate at a medical insurance company for 2 1/2 years and am itching to get back to school. I have been thinking about a career in nursing since I graduated with the other degree. I started to go back to Auburn immediately after graduating and just do it. But I decided to think about it for a few years and if I still wanted to do it then I would. So....now I'm ready. What's better the AD from Jeff State, maybe Lawson or do I just bite the bullet and go for the BSN. Does it matter? I have scanned the threads and noticed that Jeff State is not getting favorable reviews. Any insight would be appreciated. What about the BSN at JSU? Any thoughts?
