  1. hi all, i totally agree about the nurses calling each other names. i joined nursing school in september 07, i had my first placement in november it lasted till february and it was the worst experience of my life. i have two children who behave better than them on this ward, the nurses were lazy to say the least they would bully the students to do everything and the students did because they were afraid of getting fails on their practise documents. i to witnessed a student crying because she was bullied i reported the state of the ward when i went back to school. I also reported to the nurses on the ward that five patients had the beginnings of pressure sores on the bottoms and nothing was done. It was like they did'nt like the student telling them anything. I hope i never have to set foot on that ward again i would rather leave.
