I certainly will! When I emailed the NMC they simply said, "apply anyway" and they would make the decision at that time However, since we're both attending "real" schools, and our transcripts will reflect that, I don't think it will be a problem. Good luck to you!!!

Hey, everyone! I submitted the online app over the weekend, still anxiously awaiting the email packet. I am applying for Women's Health, as well. I'm thrilled they have added it back. My desire to work with women is what compelled me to enter nursing school to begin with, and like Alliebobally07 I hope to become a CNM one day. Hi, Rainingwoman, I don't have a definitive answer from the NMC but from talking with others, I believe when they refer to "online" programs they are referring to the university's that are strictly online, such as Phoenix and others like it. If you earn your degree from an actual brick-and-morter university that happens to offer the classes online, you won't be disqualified. The latter option is what I am doing -- taking my BSN classes from a "real" school that offers all the classes (minus the clinicals) online. Hope this helps!

Hi, and please forgive if this has been covered elsewhere. I have looked and couldn't come up with anything. I spoke with a UK recruiter from Continental Travel Nurse today who advised that I had little luck of ever securing registration with the NMC because I will have an online Bachelor's degree and I wanted to run that by you all. I have a BA in Literature/Anthropology, an ADN (that was not online at all) and will begin my RN to BSN in January. The school I am enrolled in for my BSN is an actual brick and morter university, but they offer all the "didactic" or lecture portion of the program online to accommodate for working RNs. The clinical portion would of course be in person as well. So I am not getting my degree from an "online university" rather an actual university who offers the classes online. I will have met the minimum three years of training requirement, but I am wondering if the online factor will disqualify me? Thanks for the advice!

Hey, All: Here are the questions I have pulled from other VNRP threads, for those of you interviewing next week, would you be willing to confirm or deny they are still using these? :) -what is unique about you -what are your strengths/weaknesses -name your best and worst classes -describe a difficult situation and what you did about it -how do you learn what you need to learn? -why you chose your track -your proudest accomplishment in nursing school -how do you educate your patients -a clinical situation where your actions made a significant difference for your patient Please add if you know of more! Right now, I am trying to list situations that have happened to me in my life in and outside of nursing school. I have had really "good" patients who were friendly, compliant, etc. So I am worried about having to answer a lot of "negatives" in regards to patients, since I really haven't had any negative experiences. Also, I live in Nashville, but don't have enough posts to PM anyone about meeting up!

Hey, Duluth and everyone else! I have an interview on Thursday. I am wondering how everyone is preparing for these interviews? I have never had a behavioral interview before, and our school seems to have no interest in preparing us for interviewing in general! Any help you all can offer is greatly appreciated, and of course congrats and good luck to all!
