Queensborough CC
Thanks guys for your feedback...speaking of having the ANP 1 and ANP 2 taken at the same place, I actually took these courses again at a two year college. I took these classes the first time at Hunter and when taking them again, I received an A in both. Would they still even consider that and take the higher grade?

Queensborough CC
Hi Guys, I'm currently looking in QCC's nursing program, possibly as a transfer student. I've pretty much covered all my pre-reqs classes for nursing such as ANP 1, ANP2, Microbiology, English, Psych, Chem, etc from a 4 year CUNY. I took ANP2 again to improve my grade as well as ANP 1 and Psych. Does QCC average out the higher grade and lower grade or do they just take the higher grade?

BMCC nursing program
Hey guys, I am a little bit confused about how BMCC does their admission process for transfer students. I know that they only look at the Pre-clinical nursing courses to get into the Clinical Stage- Eng 101, Psy 100, BIO 425 (which I've already taken already at another CUNY college). As for transfer students, they are given an option to request one time during the first semester of enrollment the removal of transfer credit in one or more of the pre-clinical nursing. Does that mean we're allowed to retake a certain pre-clinical course over just so to improve the grade and not have the credit from the previous college be transferred over to BMCC? (for example, you get a C+ in ANP1 at another college but decide to take it again at BMCC and not have that C+ transferred over) Basically, is it kind of like choosing the pre-clincial courses you want and do not want to count as a transfer credit? Thanks so much!

Any Options? What's the best thing to do?
Hi everyone, I need a little help...I'm not sure whether to transfer out from my four year CUNY college, Hunter that is and start from scratch to a two year college such as queenborough, bmcc, etc. I didn't get into the program at Hunter and I also just took the NET exam for Adelphi University...I know you can take the Net twice per semester however I need other back up options? What should I do? I basically finished all my pre reqs (ANP1, ANP2 (taking it again to improve my grade), Micro) but I am just frustrated at the fact that I know two year colleges are looking at As for their sciences which means taking them all over again if I were to transfer...help! :uhoh21:
