Hi, I'm curious as to whether or not anyone reading this thinks I have a shot at Yale, Johns Hopkins and University of Miami. I try to be optimistic, but I know it's a tough school, so heres my specs -3.64 GPA -1130 on GRE (670 Math, 460 Verbal) and a 4.5 on the analytical -3 year graduate with Health Studies Degree, Minor in sociology (may 09 graduation) -Member of Phi Eta Sigma, National Freshmen Honor Society -Member of Omicron Delta Kappa, National Leadership Honor Society -Deans List Recipient (Fall 06, Spring 07, Spring 08) -will be the youngest graduate to ever receive the degree (school history) -Member of New Jersey Society of Public Health Educators -Vice President of the Sociology Club -A senior senator in the Student Government Association -Will study abroad in florence, italy for a month this summer -Member / Creator of the student group HEAL, Health Education, Advocacy and Leadership -Member of a selection committee for an annual award given to high school teachers (4 students and 4 faculty) -currently in the process of instituting a 3-year curriculum plan for health studies -currently in the process of instituting Eta Sigma Gamma, National Health Education honor society -my recommendations are from a professor with her doctorate in nursing, a professor / NP with a post-masters certificate in gerontology, and social work professor who recently was accepted to a doctorate program by graduation, i will have taken biology, microbiology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology 1 and 2, nutrition, statistics, 3 courses in psychology, and developmental psychology. i also have worked at walmart, abercrombie and fitch, and as a peer tutor on campus during my 3-year career. please be as honest as possible with me, i'll love u for it lol
