  1. yeah transfer from another university
  2. Got my schedule today
  3. Awesome I can't wait to break stuff!
  4. Yeah everything checked out ok, and emailing them is the best way. Go Rebels
  5. I did not even know about the tour. I emailed the school today to establish what is going on with my forms and everything. I figure I am just paranoid, but before I load everything up and move 6 to 7 hours I want to make sure I am moving for a reason. Could anyone maybe send me the time slots on the classes are.
  6. I finished my biology degree from Ole Miss, and have been lucky enough to pick up on some things related to the medical field. Quick question, I mailed my forms off the second week of march and never received anything except the orientation information for the regular college, have you guys received anything. And anyone know any other male nurses going to USA? May is going to get here fast, but I can't wait
  7. Just got back from mobile this weekend. We went all through Mobile looking for places to live, and realized that west mobile is the place to concentrate on. Also there is a mellow mushroom close to campus which is great. I am also moving from Mississippi, and I do not know anyone at USA. However I did see the new building and it looks great, and west mobile is really separated from the actual mobile area. Everything is not too far away so i am excited to get this program started.
  8. Hey everyone, I am headed to the Mobile campus and starting this summer. I was wondering if anyone else was headed down there. I am entering the program as a prior degree student, and excited to get this journey started. Anyone have any feedback on this program, living area, want to throw in their two cents, or just want to post something about mobile or the university please feel free. I have looked through the other threads but nothing has really jumped out about this program. I will also answer any questions some of you may have if I can soloduck
  9. And one more thing, My prereqs were at a 3.6, but thankfully south alabama has a prior degree program that is actually the same length, and they rank by your prerequisites, Good luck to all that applied.
  10. Well since I started this thread, I figured I would give some feedback. I did not qualify for the accelerated program. Thanks to slacking at a younger age, my overall gpa finished at 2.97. However, this may be beneficial to some about the Hesi. It is extremely easy I finished with a 94 percent, but still would not be considered for the accelerated program. I thought the math was extremely easy because you could calculate everything. Chemistry was basic, the a&p part was sporadic, as a matter of fact I had 5 questions asked about the Ear. I only struggled on vocabulary, but someone told me that most of the words were covered in the hesi study guide. I honestly am a little upset about the 3.0 GPA because my degree was in biology, and I feel that I scored well on the Hesi. Compared to the group that tested with me I was an average of 15 percent higher in all. I just wish they would put emphasis on what your degree is in.
  11. Hey everyone, First off, I hope everyone and their family have survived the hurricane with no or minimal damage, and secondly I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with UMC's accelerated program. I just finished my degree in Biological Sciences, and decided on nursing. My questions concern how many spots are available, average GPA, and any other helpful advice.
