  1. What I meant was that their rejection letter wasn't very informative.
  2. The letter is equally as riveting, let me tell you!
  3. From working in healthcare in San Francisco, I know that SF State has the "reputation" for being a solid nursing school. But I've never actually been able to track down anybody who has graduated from the CNS program there (or many who've gotten in this year, for that matter!). What they *don't* have a reputation for is organization. There isn't a lot of hand holding, from what I understand. Like milan02 says, "You get what you pay for!"
  4. Still no mail today.
  5. Same here. Thanks for your support. I'm sorry you are suffering, but misery loves company--right? I think I'm going to go home and stalk my mail carrier. I'm usless here.
  6. Sorry to hear that---but, at least you applied to more than one school (unlike me). And, I still haven't heard, but I'm expecting the rejection today. At least I will have some closure.
  7. Hey Crazyframes, Welcome to the club of people who haven't gotten a letter. Maybe we should just start our own nursing school? Haha. My mailbox has taken a beaten these past few weeks. I'm sure I'm going to break it one day soon. To answer your question: Apparently they do send out letters to everyone. Congratulations to you for getting in somewhere though!
  8. I'm just wondering if anyone else has heard from SFSU's GMSN program? I've heard from people who got waitlisted and accepted. But, I still haven't heard anything yet. I just spoke with someone in the Nursing Department, and she said it's a "slow process" and that not all of the letters have gone out...
  9. I guess they are sending out the acceptances first, since Crisbiss got hers (Congratulations, by the way). Did they give you a date to reply by? I've heard that some people on the waitlist may not find out until literally the day before class starts! Insert sigh . We all made such sacrifices to apply, with the pre-req's and all. I also have a 3 year old son, and work full time. I hope it wasn't all for nothing! Can you all believe it is taking this long? I'm in pure agony. But, these postings make me feel less alone!
