  1. Bittyboo, I am also a SLU grad. I started applying to Boston hospitals in February, I went out to Boston and tried to meet with HR, but no one was available. Did you have any luck? I have heard that the hospitals are on a hiring freeze and that if they are hiring it is internally or from local nursing schools.
  2. Thanks, guys. Do you know of any way to stand out from the rest of the crowd not being from the area? Any recommendations?
  3. Hi, I'm moving to the Bay Area and have been applying to several new grad programs including UCSF and Stanford. I haven't had the best success, however, I have had a few call backs. Does anybody know if they prefer new grads within the area? Is it a disadvantage that I'm not in the city? I will be graduating in May and relocating in June. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks!
