My clinical instructor wants me to do a 10 minute presentation on peripheral pulses. Last week I had a patient with a cast and she thought it would be good learning experience for my classmates to learn on how to assess perfusion on these kind of situations. The problem is that I don't know if there is enough information to give for a 10 minute presentation. I know you have to check for capillary refill less than 3 seconds and that the skin is warm to touch. But other than that I don't know what else to talk about. Any advise helps. Thanks, Nohemi :nuke:
