I am a director of nursing in a 35 bed assisted living facility. When I was hired I was an LPN, but had graduated with my ADN, and was waiting to take RN boards. I was told by two different adminstors that when passed RN boards, I would get a raise. When I passed boards I was told, I would not get a raise, because I did not have a change in positions.I am currently making the same amount as another LPN on the floor, she does not have to take call and does not have half the responsibilities I do. My question is should I quit, ask for a raise, what do I do????
