I'm really confused on whether to do an LPN or go straight for the RN (leaning toward RN now) so in the meantime Im going to be starting the prereqs shortly.. But when Im done with that, I really need to get into an RN program that would be maybe 2 nights a week and every other weekend?? does anyone know of any like this?? I've been trying to find some in philly and I've been coming up empty Can someone pls HELP? :)

I'm new to this whole thing so I'm wondering, what is it about LTC falcilities that people dont like? what are the benefits/differences between hospital and LTC? Thx again!!

Hi there everyone.. a little about me, Im a currently a sahm of a beautiful 5 yr old little girl.. Im 31, been out of school for a number of years and Im considering going to school to become a LPN.. I would love to go for the RN but since I really dont have the time for the prereq thats not an option for me right now.. I basically want to become an LPN and than go back to school part time when I have some experience.. I live in NE philly as you can tell from my name lol and I REALLY would love to know if anyone knows anything about Prism Career Insitute? what the program is like i.e the hours, days or anything that you would like to share about LPN school? I've been reading up on the forums and I really want to thank all of you for sharing your experiences, reading all of it honestly what has me thinking that this might be for me. I do have to admit that Im scared of getting into this only to find out its too much to handle or to actually graduate and find out its hard to find a good paying job.. ANY help would be so appreciated
