    Hi There, I'm also brand new to school nursing. I started in Oct. last year, and took a maternity leave from november to february. I received zero orientation from the nurse who left. She dodged my phone calls and wouldn't come in to give orientation. So I'm on my own, but very excited about this job. I know I'm going to love it! I'm responsible for 600 students in four schools pre-school to 12th grade. I'm in a consolidated rural school dist in wyoming so I drive a lot. This district has only had a school nurse position for a couple of years and the program - well there isn't really a program- It's a little overwhelming. I could use some help!
