  1. My school is set up in sections. I am a first semester student and there are 3 total sections. Each section has a set schedule, so by picking your section you are basically picking your schedule. And the schedule if for the entire program. On the first day of orientation into the program, we had a sign in sheet. And they went by the order on the sheet in letting us pick our section/schedule. So it was first come, first served. But they did not tell us that it was going to be this way. I was about 20 minutes early, but if I had known they were doing this, I would have been there much earlier. I was lucky and still got the section I wanted. Anyway, I don't think it's fair to give certain students (besides disabled) an advantage. It sould be a first come, first served.
  2. Don't worry! With a 92 you will get in. That is an excellent score. And yes, you will probably know by November. Good luck!
  3. Clinicals start at 6:45 sharp and will usually end around 1pm. Good luck to you too!
  4. I don't mind the questions! I had a lot of them too before I started the program. I am in the day program and I have clinicals on Mondays, class on Tuesday and Thursday and also sim lab on Thursdays after class. It will change each semester. Like next semester I'll have clinicals on Mondays and Tuesdays, class on Wednesdays and Thursdays. How is it? It's a lot of work. I mean A LOT! Lots of reading and studying mostly. But I do like it so far. I just wish there more hours in the day! Because I just don't have enough time, especially with a husband and 2 small children. Let me know if you have any other questions!
  5. you are right that anatomy and physiology fill up very fast. but if you are accepted into the nursing program you get priority. they let you register at the first orientation/info session, which is before the official registration date for the rest of the college. i think it was in march. so don't worry about not getting in if you are accepted into the program. and you definitely want to get as many pre-req's out of the way as you can. the nursing class and clinicals will take up all of your free time. i can't imagine if i had to have other classes right now. but there are quite a few people in my class who are also taking anatomy. i don't know how they do it. good luck with the net!!
  6. Hey 2bNurseLove, I grew up in Ridley Park! Anyway, I am in the program now and I *think* I got either an 83 or 84 for my composite score. I know quite a few of us got in the low to mid 80's. I am pretty sure a 85 will get you in. As for the NET, I only took it once, and that was enough for me!! But I studied my butt off for the math, and ended up having a terrible time with the reading comp stuff. I got like a 93 in math. So definitely study the reading stuff. And take any practice test you can get your hands on. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck to both of you!
  7. I don't remember exactly but I think I got a 75. And I got a 92 or 93 in math. And I got accepted and will start in the Fall. Good luck! Oh, and I only took it once.
  8. I just ordered one from www.Steeles.com yesterday. I got my name engraved on the metal part, which is the expensive part. And it can't be removed!
