  1. Thanks for the advice! I have looked at schools and there are no CNA classes that don't interfere with work but there are also less night and online classes available at community colleges now for my prereqs. I hate my job and would rather try to start from the bottom as a CNA because I figure they are more accommodating to those looking to learn more than a regular job would be. So i guess start from there?!
  2. I am almost 32 and after 8 years at my current job I am ready to follow my dream of nursing. But I don't know where to start. I was thinking of taking a CNA course but I would have to quit my job and I have a car payment as well as other bills. What kind of job should I look for that will allow me to go to school and afford it? And is starting as a CNA the best way to move up to RN eventually?
  3. So I am 26 and attempting to go back to school. For the past 9 years I have completed less than 15 credits and have a ton of F's and W's because I just couldn't get myself to stay in class. I am now 100% dedicated to focusing on school but could really use a buddy to keep me motivated so I don't give up hope. I have no friends that are in school anymore so I really don't have anyone to turn to for help. I still have to take the following classes so if there is anyone who could be a friend during what I'm sure will be a tough time I would greatly appreciate it. Here are the classes I still need to take: Psych 24 Nutrition 11 Phsyo 002A and Physo 002B Chem Micro Polsc History 7A Math 125
