hi everybody; i am just coming back from taking the NCLEX again. last time i didnot study much and practice few mcq's and failed the test after 265 q's. this time i studied from saunders and didnot do ncsbn review. i did lippincott and saunders and practice from some other online websites like nursereview.org. my test stop at 110mcq's this time and still have no idea what happen. i had 8 to 10 SATA q's and 5to 6 calculations, endocrinology, psych, and lot of question from fundamental, infection control. i had almost 7 to 8 question on pharmacology regarding specific side effects of duifferent medications. please know you med good. after giving the exam second time i have mixed feeling because some of the q's i think i answered correctly but they are other question which i have no clue. i am trying to stay positive but to be honest with you i don't know. i have read lot of post and i know there is 50-50 chance i pass. just pray for me and i will try to keep on positive side. best of luck to everybody preparing for this monsterous exam.

hi, i failed on my first try which was in January, 2008. now i am trying to build up more energy to go for second time. on my result it says that i am near passing score on almost every section except one. i have no idea what it means. can anybody explain it? this time i am trying to study Saunders 4th edition and almost finishing it. after Saunders should i try some testing services to evaluate myself? please advice. Saunders is very good book for comprehensive review but the difficulty level is not the same as in the actual exam. plus in the exam there are question which seem to me i never heard off. is that happen to lot of us or its just my perception. i know there are lot of services available like Kaplan, Davis, NCSBN, nurse review.net, ATI testing etc. but lot of them cost money which obviously i don't have. my question is is there any plan available in which you can follow to improve yourself after reading Saunders. thanks mianfaisal
