  1. So I'm a travel nurse that only works along the west coast. I'm interested in joining the reserves (AirForce or Navy) but don't know how that would work with me moving. Am I assigned to one unit and then brought in for drills/training? Am I not allowed to live more than a certain distance? Any info would be helpful. Oh, and yeah I plan on talking with a recruiter just don't have the time right now for them to "hassle" me nonstop if you know what I mean.
  2. Lived in Eugene, OR for a year, wasn't for me. Sacred Heart Medical Center was GREAT and they're building a BRAND new hospital from the ground up that should open after this summer. If you love the outdoors and the "nature" lifestyle then this would be a great fit for you. Eugene is a medium size town that is close to everything: ocean, forest, ski, and Portland. If I had to choose between the 2 I would def pick Eugene and I had a blast with everyone on the surgical floor there.
