  1. Was it particular units that you heard bad things about? Because I've heard bad things "generally"....but I do realize it depends on the unit as well.
  2. i see that you're in ny. what hospital did you have your orientation at?
  3. Hi guys. I'm a new RN and I have an interview at NYU next week for post-partum. I've heard a lot of bad things about the hospital from nurses in the past, and their units tend to have a lot of very young RNs...which leads to wonder if most of them leave??? Anyone work at NYU? Any info is greatly appreciated!
  4. Oh and I forgot to mention that they redid the entire curriculum and now they're being very selective about who they're accepting...but I don't really know how bad it is.
  5. I actually just graduated from LIU. When I started, it was extremely easy to get in, but we went from about 200 students to 40 at the end. The program itself is extremely demanding. It's seriously the hardest thing I've ever been through and there were times when we felt really screwed over by the school. A good thing about LIU though is that they really prepared us well for the NCLEX. We had to take HESI exams every semester and they always challenged us. It's very expensive though (like 16K per semester without financial aid).
