Hi! I am a nursing student here in the US and am currently on an F1 visa. After I graduate and after I pass the necessary licensure exams, will i be eligible for a green card even though I only have an Associate degree? Can I also take advantage of the OPT in order to gain experience? Thank you very much. I'll appreciate your help.

I'm really glad i joined AN. I'll soon be on my own here in Amarillo as my sister will be moving back to NY to be with her husband. I know that her support for me will never waver, I'm still apprehensive about being alone. But I know that I'll be fine. I have an AN support system! Thanks guys!

I am actually in the same boat with you. My sister's husband is constantly annoyed that my sister sends me to school. I am an international student on an F1 visa and my job opportunities as well as my work hours are very limited. I can't avail of any student loan without a guarantor. My visa is very restrictive that's why I need my sister's help as of now. Had it not been for the restrictions set forth in my visa, I could very well eke it out and go through the program. Do you know of any scholarship or grant that I can avail of as an international student or any loan or aid that I can apply to? Thank you
