  1. Thanks for your replies, Well i got the position and we are looking at moving closer :) I will be using the creche at the hospital for my son so will have to park there, can anyone tell me how early you have to be there to score a park? Can you reserve a park? I am SO not taking a 2 year old on the bus
  2. Im interviewing for a job at auckland hospital but im worried about the commute there and home while having to pick my son up/drop him off at daycare. Is there parking at auckland hospital? The job is as an anaesthetist technician so i dont know if i would qualify for cheap parking or not? Are there any suburbs close to the hospital that still have reasonable rent? At the moment i would be spending 2 hours a day driving where i live at the moment. TIA :)
  3. Thank you so much for all your advice! After reading what you all have said and thinking alot more i think i am going to start nursing and just wait and see how i feel about having another baby. Im not planning on having a baby until i finish now as i think i could offer alot more if i am a bit older and we are more settled. I would have more time with just my 2 year old and more time for study. Thanks so much for your advice again, its great sounding ideas off people who are in similar situations.
  4. I have just recieved the go ahead to start nursing school in spring 2009! :yeah:The problem is we were planning on trying to add another little one to our family in spring 2009. I have a 2 year old son and always wanted to have two babies close together. So the dilema... Start my degree off and then get pregnant, having the baby half way through my study (arg it sounds hard just typing it) Or finish my degree and wait meaning postponing the baby making for a long while (argh) Or postpone the degree and continue to let our family grow. (ive been waiting to get into nursing for aaaaaaages) Is it much harder to go through nursing school with 2 kids instead of one? Mums who have gone through nursing school what do you think?
