  1. Have you searched places in your area and applied in person? I say this because many smaller facilities wont post online. Go ahead and bring copies of your resume and a pen with copy of license and ID to apply in person. This is how I got my first LVN job one month after getting my license. Have patience and don't dwell on the fact that "it's hard out there." Yeah it is but if you want a job and are flexible with where your first job is you WILL get a job. Good luck

  3. I'm finally focused on becoming a lpn/lvn. I have a few options... one is taking out a loan and starting an lpn/lvn program at a private program for 24,000 right away. The other is taking pre-requisite classes of anatomy and bio at my local comm college then waiting till next JANUARY to appy for their 3,000 program. What did you do?? Thanks in advance:heartbeat
