  1. I graduated in Dec. and went right into a regional hosp. where we handle extremely high risk pt. we get regular labor pts too. I am very grateful for the experience and i love the pt care. I am just worried it will ruin me to my dreams of being a midwife. I have been on both sides and i can already say I hate Pit. Anyone have any comments?:thnkg:
  2. Not to give conflicting info, but I am preparing to go to u of p and the info packet they mailed me say's 2 years l&d experience? frontier was 1 year.
  3. I work at cooper, I haven't been there long but I am very happy with it. just keep in mind that it is a teaching hospital. there are always students and residents everywhere. being union is great 5 mo and I already have a nice raise. all in all good place to work. people always seem impressed when I say I work at cooper.
  4. I am starting nights and I am really worried about having my phone off while I sleep because my 6 year old is at school. My husband isn't always reachable during the day. I just have this horrible thought stuck in my head of my son falling from the monkey bars or throwing up and the school nurse not being able to let me know he needs me. ! Any words of advice?
