  1. Thank you. Yes, I really have the RN license of here. I guess different college has different policy, the school which I applied asked me for those courses before I take the RN-BSN program. I called it prerequisite courses , is that right? But anyway, they gave me the formal admission letter. So I guess I may apply the CPT next year .
  2. Thank you for your advice. Actually, I will start some pre-requisite courses for next semester, and it will take me more than one year. So that's why I want to use my CPT after one year full-time study. And I'v hold the RN licence, so I guess I may apply for some job out of campus. But tell me , is that possible to work 40 hours per week by using the CPT? Thank you.
  3. Thank you , Suzzan. I am in the US right now. As I know I may spend 20 hours for on-campus job as I am full time international student. But are you sure we can take just 20 hours/week for CPT? Some graduate students may work 40 hours/week for their CPT, but of course they still need to register 9 credit hours for that semester. When you say 20 hours for CPT, that means this policy is just for undergraduate students? Thanks.
  4. hi: I will start nursing study(RN-BSN) next month. I consider that maybe I will use CPT next year. But also I heard that if I find full time job for CPT , then I still need to register 12 credit hours per semester. Is that true? Anyone has the same experience here? Tell me how you fixed that? Thanks.
  5. Actually, I don't think so. It will let you into the 'waiting line' until you file your 485. But I'm not sure. Maybe we need to listen to Suzzane4
  6. Thank you , suzanne4. I know I won't have the chance to take the green card even if the retrogression is lifted this time. But I may have the chance to apply my 140 and 485. Until I submit my 485, I will be in pending status. That's my understanding, am I right? As a student holding F1 visa, can I submit 140 and 485? As I know, F1 belongs to non-immigration visa, and some friends told me that you can't just jump from non-immigration visa to GC, so is that legal that I submit my GC application while I am in my F1 status?
  7. hi. i got my rn license last year , my status is f2 and i have no ssn. now i just take the admission of the nursing department for rn-bsn program of my husband's university. i get to change my status from f2-->f1 these days. but i hear there's a news about recapture provision for 61,000 schedule a visas. if i change my status right now, may i find a job and apply my green card when i study as an international student with my f1 visa? and it will cost me 3 months to change my status, if the eb3 schedule a is recaptured at this time, what should i do? can i apply my green card? thanks. i really need your suggestion.
