  1. I probably won't do CCC's. It doesn't have anything to do with whether or not they're good schools, but the fact that my bf may be promoted within his company, and we move to California. I want to make sure that my classed would transfer to schools there, so I'm looking to take them at UIC, as a non-degree seeking student. From what I've read here, getting a seat can be a pain in the ass, but in the long run I think it's in my best interests. Sucks that it will be more expensive though.
  2. Thank you very much. As I really started to dig through old posts, I found a lot of the answers I was looking for. I'm a little embarrassed I didn't do so in the first place. Just call me eager, errr impatient. Again thank you for the response. I do appreciate it.

Hello All! I am a college grad in a non-nursing field. I've been looking at programs at both UIC and Rush. I do not however have the required prerequisites and was wondering what community college (in Chicago) would offer the best classes. I would like to be able to apply to both schools, and am interested in any opinions. Also, my undergrad GPA was a 3.7. Is that competitive for the area? Oh goodness, one more question, does anyone know why Rush is ending their accelerated BSN program? They were so rude to me on the phone when I called about an open house, that I didn't bother asking. I poked around a bit on the boards, but didn't find an actual answer. Thanks again! belle
