  1. stomach feels in knots right now..I'm gonna clean my room and hopefully kill some time before work..waiting for the results is killing me.
  2. Hey esjay. I'm glad I'm not alone and you took the test same day as me! I dont know if I was crying in my sleep or what but I woke up and my eyes were puffy. I only got 3 SATA's too..and I was wondering where all of them went..lol. Yesterday I had high hopes..but today I'm thinking I failed the test again...I had no idea what I was answering on prioritization most of the time..and they gave me so many of those....I hope we both pass. Let's keep praying.
  3. Thanks AimeeJo..And congratulations on finding out that you passed. I'm happy for you. =)
  4. Wow..I really feel in limbo right now. I had none but that doesn't make me feel any better. I struggled with the prioritization questions..most of the time it was down to 2 and I wasn't sure who to pick. I had Drugs but all of them were the ones that I had studied and knew very well...I guess I'll find out in 2 days if I passed...I really really hope that I passed. I studied really hard this time..
  5. Yeah I'm trying not to. I didn't expect the computer to keep giving me questions. After 75 I thot it was going to shut off..then 75 became 100..then 100 became 140 then 140 became 180!! I was alittle worried because I thot the test would keep going on till the entire 265 questions. I prayed alot..actually probably most of the test I prayed since I have never gotten that far to 180 questions. So you have no math calculations and failed?
  6. Goodluck Phila.
  7. I took my test today 10/21/08. I reached 180 questions with (3) SATA, (0) Math Calculations, 10 Drugs, and the rest of the Exam was Teaching, Prioritization and Delegation. Can someone tell me if they know anyone who failed with ZERO Math Calculations? I prayed to God not to give me those kind of questions..and he answered my prayers. Hopefully I find out that he will also answer my prayer to Pass. I would kindly appreciate any Feedback. Someone to talk to would be really nice right now.. :stone
  8. Hey Goodluck. Seems like you've prepared the best way that you can. My test is tomorrow thanks for the tips. A day before your test did you skim and study a bit or just relax?
  9. Your welcome!! Goodluck!!! :)
  10. Hey Lewis, I'd say one calculation out of 221 questions sounds like you did pretty good with Pharmacology and that area accounts for alot on the NLCEX. But as others have said there's no way of knowing if you passed or not. Just hope for the best. If you ask me I think you passed. My test is in 2 more days, I'll be joining you in your agony of waiting soon. Wish me luck. ^_^
  11. I will. Days seem to be going by fast! I know that by the time I'm done with it I will probably feel a sigh of relief or more depressed knowing that I spent alot of time preparing to know that I bombed. LOL. Thanks though Silver, I'll keep you guys posted.
  12. Yeah I'm tired of studying really, I just want to get it over with and I'm hoping to see that my work has paid off and is enough to pass. Tuesday is near..2 MORE DAYS LEFT. :stone
  13. Goodluck. I test a day before you.
  14. Thank you Rhonda & good question. I can say before that I prepared merely by reading and trying to master core content without doing any practice questions whatsoever with Kaplan as my reference. This time I bought Saunder's and actually practiced roughly 3000 questions maybe even more if I count additional references that I've used. I'll be happy for any kind of improvement. But even more happier to find out that I pass! Thank you for your encouragement. :) So when's your test? I have 3 more days. :redbeathe
  15. Thanks Mary. I'll be sure to take a break before I test. I won't study on sunday or monday since my test is on Tuesday. Thanks. :)
  16. Wow piscesmama really?! I feel better knowing that I have someone in the same position as me who has been preparing for months and is tired, yet alone same test date too? What a small world. My test is 2:45PM. I figured that I'm not going to be able to sleep at night thinking about it so I'd better schedule it for afternoon just incase. I'll say a prayer for the both of us on that day. Goodluck
  17. Thanks Jeremiah, I feel good about others praying over me. Thanks. :) Just to clear things up this isn't my first time taking the test, I've taken it before. I'm thinking by now I should really be used to failure lol. Did you pass on your first try Jeremiah?? The first time I took it I thot to myself I really wish I had studied infection control alot more.. This time I'm hoping that I wont get any math calculations I'd rather get drugs drugs drugs.. I know this is a very good sign.
  18. really thank you guys for all your kind responses..It was something that I really needed to hear. I took a break and didn't do any reveiw, I feel alot better now. My test date is on tuesday this coming week, I'm just going to take it and stop being a perfectionist and control freak about things. I really need to lighten up. I love all you guys and I'm gonna keep a positive attitude for tuesday! I will tell you how it goes. If I don't pass there's always another chance to take it and you're right, I just have to see it as a test. Thank you so much for your insights, I feel so much better! :[anb]:
  19. hey guys. I haven't been on this forum for awhile as I've been preparing for the nclex. Anyways I just feel really burnt out and tired of seeing the saunders book and answering question after question. I've been preparing for 2 close to 3 months now..and I just want to take the test but I'm scared. I keep rescheduling over and over..but right now what's on my mind is that I can't do this anymore and my insecurities about pharmacology. I'm bad at math and calculations. I have to take it once and for all, i'm getting sick of all of this preparing yet again I just don't want to fail..I'm scared. I lost the fire that I once had in the initial months of preparing, and now that my exam date is close I just don't feel like seeing another page from that saunders book or any more questions..I feel like I overdid everything and now that my exam date is close i'm laxing off and not putting in the work that I should. Any responses will be great..I really just feel like talking to someone right now. When I think about the possiblity of failing..I just feel sad again..
  20. Oh yeah Windy!! How long of a time frame did you do before you took the Nclex??
  21. Yes I agree, 100 is best for me. But like everyone said previously, everyone is different. I'm still reading rationales to those I got right and trying to understand everything..I really hope this works!! Goodluck to everyone taking their boards, and thanks to everyone who posted in this thread. :loveya:
  22. Wow Congratulations Windy on Passing your boards! Again I'd like to thank everyone who responded and sorry for the late reply. Well I guess 100 works for me, sometimes I do less like I try to do 80 at least since I have a very tiresome schedule. I get up in the morning at 6AM go to work and go home at 4PM, get some sleep since I know once I get home and I'm tired my brain just won't function well and needs to rest. I get up again at 8PM do my questions and read the rationales. I probably study up until about 1-2AM then I go to bed since I have work the following day. Anyways I'll be testing next month as I'm scheduled for September so I really really hope that I'm retaining everything that I've read and practiced!!! I just found out last night that I'm really weak on Cardiovascular disorders so I'm gonna be reading that tonight.
  23. Thanks Guys, sorry for the late reply. I had class and get to come on here really late hours.
  24. I think on the diagnostic PRETEST it doesn't give you the answers. When your done finishing it, it only tells you what percentage that you scored on the Pretest. However at the very bottom where it says Diagnostic test's, Q&A and alternate item formats, it gives you the rationale everytime you answer a question. What I kinda didn't like about it though is that it only tells you the correct answer..it doesn't tell you why you got it wrong. It's kinda vague to me since I did this course awhile back.. Hope this helps though.
