  1. Hi. I am brand-new to this forum and this is my first post. Here is my nursing career history. Telemetry for 1 yr and Pediatric/Med Surgical for 6 mo. I also worked part time at a Pediatrician's office. All of my experience took place over 7 years ago before I became pregnant with triplets. Now that my singleton is 8 and triplets are 6, I am ready to re-enter the nursing. My question is HOW? and Where to begin? I would like to use my experience as a multiple mom and nursing in my new career path. My triplets were born at 29 weeks so I have been there through the NICU phase. I think I may enjoy NICU nursing now or Maternal-Child nursing. I need some advice as to how to go about this. Should I start with a refresher course and try to get into a hospital in the nursery or NICU? Other factors to consider are I have 4 children to think about for after-school babysitting and activities so its' hard for me to commit to any long-term full time orientation or training. I think I may like home-health nursing to accomodate my schedule. I am so confused. Thanks for any input...
