  1. Hey Peachgirl, just got back from the interview and thought I'd let you know I got the job! I'll be starting next month at the orientation!!:w00t:
  2. Thanks for your response. I plan on going to the library today, so while I'm there I'll look more into information about the hospital and print some things out. I'm glad you said that about benefits because I alomost forgot that that is something I do need to find out about them. I have maybe a couple questions I can think of, but, any other questions you or any of you guys think I should ask them?
  3. Hello all, I found this forum a couple weeks ago and have been reading through a lot of information that I have found to be very helpful over that time, and would first like to thank you all for that. I've been very fortunate enough to be chosen to be interviewed for a CNA position at a branch of my local hospital, one of the very well recognized hospitals in NJ. I would be working at one of their nursing homes. I had been trying for months to get a job there and my keeping at it just might land me a position there!! Now the interview..It kind of has me nervous. I'm an 18 year old male, had a few jobs in my life, so have of course been through interviews before, but not for a job in the medical environment so I am not entirely sure what to expect. I was hoping that you guys could help me in the way of questions I might be asked..maybe some good answers to those questions..haha, well you don't have to say answers..unless you really want to... But really, any interview I have had before was just for a job because I just needed a job for money, nothing that was career related. Department stores..etc. But, I'm starting school this fall, hoping to obtain my BSN eventually so this CNA position really means a lot to me, and in most ways has me really excited. PLUS, if I do get this position, the hospital will pay for me to be certified, which would be great! The interview is tomorrow, so any tips you guys could give me for an interview, at all, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! And hope this post wasn't too long for a first post! p-req
