why do we do the lighting of the candles at our graduations
HEY!! I have an issue...I have to give a speech tomorrow over the history of why nurses light candles at graduation....I know it has to do with the whole Florence Nightingale history, but I cant find any resources to look at for my speech. I really don't want to get in front of 500 people and look like an idiot!! Does anybody have any ideas??? I'm not asking you to write the speech for me, I just need help!!

I Got Accepted!
I'm going to have to agree with amjowens. Take it one day at a time. I just finished my 1st term, and I still LOVE it. It is a lot of studying, figure out what kind of learner you are (visual/verbal, visual/nonverbal, tactile/kinesthetic, or auditory/verbal) and base your study habits on that. I suggest getting LOTS of note cards (to make flash cards). Get a voice recorder to record lectures. I use my cell phone that has a gig of memory in it, that way the lecture is always with you if you have a couple of minutes. Anyways, BEST of luck to you!! ps. the link to figure out your learning style (it's what my school uses) http://www.metamath.com/multiple/multiple_choice_questions.html

how much does nursing clinicals cost
My school charges $25 an hour to make up clinicals. I don't think that my school would let you take the clinicals without taking the other courses there. Our clinical experiences relate to whatever we have done in lab and in class the previous week.

Teas Test
I took the teas test last april... there were physics questions, but mind you I never took a day of a physics class in my life and I scored 100% on those questions. Really I wouldn't stress about it too much. I did terrible in high school (because I didn't care), and I scored in the top 90% of all the people applying for my school.
