  1. I'm not sure about their LVN to BSN program but ASU's BSN program is great without all the acceptance drama the other schools put you through. You complete their prereq and get it, cut and dry...
  2. Congrats to you. I was accepted into ASU's 2nd degree BSN program that starts in May 18th. Their 2nd degree program is brand new, I am in their 1st class which will be held at the main campus in San Angelo. From my understanding, future entering classes will be able to take all the classes online and complete their clinicals in their hometown.
  3. Are you from the San Diego area? Do you know anyone that has finished this program? If so, did they give you any feedback? I'm excited and nervous.....
  4. I will be moving to San Diego the end of June. Yes OU's program is totally accredited and meets all of California's testing requirements for the NCLEX exam. Will you be attending?
  5. I will be starting this fall. How about you?
  6. Ready4CRNA, thanks for your response and advise. And yes, I was born ready.....
  7. I will be applying to a Masters Program to be a Nurse Anesthetist soon and I wanted to get some feedback from some people who have "been there, done that". Wanted to see how long you worked in Acute Care before applying and being admitted to your graduate program . How was/is your graduate program? What school do/did you attend? A few schools have added a combined Masters and Doctorate of Anesthesia program. Has anyone gone through a program such as this? What added incentive is it to get a Doctorate in addition to the Masters? One school in particular states that their Doctoral program is practice-focused verses research focused. That being said, is this Doctorate still the same as a researchers PhD? :icon_roll This school also states that their program prepares experts for specialized roles within in anesthesia. They say that graduates are prepared to accept positions as expert clinicians. What is an "expert clinician"? Thanks
