I'm in FL. There are ads every day for CNA/MA. I'm an RMA-it means I have certification but my credentials are RMA. Most of the offices I have interviewed in have electronic medical records or are converting soon. I would say having strong computer skills and being an experienced CNA would look good on a resume. My last position was previously held by a CNA. They trained her on the computer and other areas where CNA's are not trained. I was also trained to work electronic records since it wasn't part of my training. It bugs me that CNA's are hired for an MA position! The time and $$$ I could have saved.
  2. Have been lurking only as I'm a CMA, not nurse but THIS post prompted me to join! I mean, really...Was this Candid Camera? Or perhaps Dwight Shrewt was running this clinic! (sorry, inside joke for The Office fans) I did temp work for a specialist whose wife ran the office. She would try something like this. Run Goback! (No-don't go back. Never look back!)
