Amy! Congrats to you! Very cool! I am in Huntington Beach. I attended Goldenwest College for a few of my classes and now am at Santa Ana Community College. I like them alot better. I was looking into Mount St Marys in L.A. private school but it is costly....so we'll see. I am going to appy every flippin where when I am done. I have heard that students in Seattle, in WA have to do a certain amount of volunteer work, to get into the program. Have you heard of that? I havent. Not here in CA. hmm?? I am new to this whole allnurses.com thing so if I dont answer right away its cause I got lost somewhere on the site!

I am glad I signed up with allnurses.com because I am getting alot of info on this RN world we all belong in but cant seem to get into fast enough! I am in OC Calif. I am almost done with my pre reqs, end of 2008 and then I apply. I will be moving to WA in the future because of my fiance'...BUT for now we are here. I was thinking of applying to the WA schools too but it seems like its the same as here to get in. We have a 2 year wait to get into the RN program. Are there any private nursing schools out in WA? Do any of you know how long the wait is? a year, 2 3? Thanks so much!!:cheers:

Nurse 2 b! Hi Amy! I was wondering where in CA you are and if you are already in the RN program. I am finishing up my pre reqs and then I apply end of this year. But its taking forever to get in!
