I was wondering how you can get a contract as a nurse in irak or gulf states? i didn`t see any offer like this on internet.

I talked to the hr recruiter at the hospital in the area, and she told me straight NO, it doesn`t matter what courses I take. yeah they have a lot of applications for few positions so yeah they can be picky. they don`t offer any refresher course at their hospital and they don`t hire persons in my situation.I can`t relocate unfortunately.I spent so much money so far that i could have done a brand new school in another area, i really don`t want to spend anything else more and not have a chance to work. I am now thinking to abandon it because looks like i don`t really have a chance. it is not true that is a shortage of nurses, but the contrary, are too many nurses . i live in Ca

Hi everyone! Ijust passed nclex exam and I was looking for a job, but i have difficulties finding one...looks like all "doors" just slam in my face because I am neither new graduate ( i graduated 10 years ago overseas) and i don`t have any experience because I worked in another field. Taking refreshing classes would not help at all because I asked about it and emlpoyer said no, they would not hire me even if I take this classes. What to do? Anyone in a situation like this?

I passed! I can`t beleive it! I was sure i failed because questions were a lot easier then last time and i didn`t get any single math question! I studied basicaly saunders 3,4 th edition, lippinicott wiliams, nscbs review on line,saxton nclex questions and some sort of classes reviw on line which helped a lot, and other aditional free things you can find on net. I want to say thank you very much to everybody who helped me in any way here with tips and advices!:) all nurses comunity is great!

I took nclexrn today!:stone I think I failed again because: the exam was a lot easier then last time, i didn`t get not one single med calculation...nothing! someone ever passed without getting med calculation ever? indeed i had lots of priority, teaching, about 10 sata maybe....and who i see first...but, it stopped at 75 same as last time...maybe i`m not meant to be a nurse:banghead:

I don`t think you can see the results on line for ca bon...but if your name pops up with a rn number ( in the verify licence section) then means you passed.

Almost 10 years! is a career switch...and i failed first time...lets see the 2nd time what i`ll do:bugeyes:

If you didn`t receive ATT better call pearson vue and ask about it.....i waited myself for it for a month and finnaly i called and found out they sent it by mail 2 days after i registered but was lost in the mail....and as email i got it in 48 hours; so, better call and ask if any of you didn`t receive it in 24 hours by email or 2 weeks by mail

I`m going to take the exam end of may too! I took it in january and failed, now I give it another try...I did suzanes`s first tip, but i don`t think it`s enough time to continue with it. i studied so much that i know the questions in 4 books by heart now...don`t know what else to do? i`m afraid i won`t pass this time either and then i`ll just give it up!

I didn`t see my name on site at all and I knew i failed...

I study(ed) saunders (besides others). Each time at tests I got at least (and over) 75-80-90% right and I failed the exam. questions in the exam were not even close as difficulty...

I also found many questions that repeat over and over again in diffrent spots...already I know the answers by heart! I don`t think is an effective method to study really...and the questions are so easy! nothing like those in the exam... I want to stick to suzzane`s plan...but...honestly I need more difficult questions then saunders... Any ideas? I did study so far: kaplan, Lippincott williams, mosby, saunders 3, and 4th edition and whatever I could find on internet for free... and none of them gave me the difficulty level I`m looking for...some of them were a joke!

I am studying saunders 4th edition, and I am confused to find some answers and rationales wrong....I wonder if anyone noticed that?

Hi! I also stopped at 75...also my name did not pop up on ca website...and also got the last (10) questions prioritizing ...did I pass? you`re supposed to pass when you get a lot of prioritizing questions? why`s that? those are the easiest... I already started to study again...decided to follow suzane`s plan...

:ancong!: I see you`re in Ca, how comes it took only 5 days to get the result? I been told I have to wait a month for the result... is there any way I can find out eariler?

Hi everyone! I`m a 75 too...the screen turned blue on 75...I feel like I failed...because questions were easier and easier toward the end! To those who failed: were questions easier toward the end? and how long you have to wait to register again for exam? For Ca, there is no way to find out the results but to wait at leat 45 days for a letter in mail? I`m going nuts!:sasq:
