You would be a great plus to the nurses if you should get involved in ANA. (Politics.legal work) to bring nurses together and improve conditions. Also, some 2 yr programs offer a fast track BSN completely on line - the ADN 2 yr program I attend at a cheap community college has the same amt of clinical hrs as the BSN, so clinicals are not a part of the curriculum. The 2 yr program school of choice u r interested in would have that info. I have B.S when I started and ADN was still easier to deal with for me-get tne BSN on your own terms later when u know more.

i took it last month and posted some questions on this forum so search for my previous post as I don't recall anymore. I waited 3 weeks for my scores, thought I did terrible, know for a fact I missed a lot of q but still got in the 94 score and 134 composite, so they threw a lot out i think. this is a good score i believe, for my adn school. there are ohm electric questions, and just check all the old posts as other people posted info there as well. I used the cream colored study guide, helped but still a lot of q not covered in book that were on test. Geology, circuits, much math division of fractions, decimals . i lost track of time on math, and so did bad in that section, so make sure you dont spend time on each q. GOOD LUCK

re newbie tobenursevera What is the reason you have to relocate to go to LPN school? You can take your preqs here perhaps, also. if you go here to a community college, the same amount of time you wait for your LPN license, you can finish the RN classes and sit for the test, so it is better to get the RN.. Toledo School of Nursing has been around a long time, and used to put out great nurses, don't know how it is now. There are LPN schools in the City colleges in the Chicago city, also. That is a big move, and unless you are already going to be moving there, ie family, husband's job, I would do more research, I am from there and live in Chicago 20 years. ps, my mother's name is Vera, so I hope u make a wise choice.

Check the local hospitals, they may offer, it is easier cheaper and less time less students. If they don't offer they may know where to go. I dont live in your area but took it at Res Hospital in Chicago, check all the community schools

To reply to nln - i just took the test this weekend. use the cream colored book from the school bookstore. just found this website, today while surfing for info on results, wish i found it b4. know about perimeters for rectangeles triangles. newton conversion from ave weight of human - i think it is about 9.3 conversion factor, watch time on math, i ran out. study the words in the book for the verbal, some are on the test. things i didn;t know and didn't find in study guide are calculating ohms, and other electrical problems, some earth science, u need to know about waves, wavelengtjhs, quantum mechanics question also, cant remember exact ? lotsof math division and decimal points and cross multiplication. Know verbal def of incredulous, and others in book, read the front section of study guide - it will help. know how to calculate area of rectangle to calculate area of squarres within it. , know about the triagle and angles on that or rectangles, know chalrs law boyles law, mendel , ab blood type donate to who, know carbs are starch and sugar, etc., know def of isotope and q regarding that . structural isomer know what it is and i think fresh off the press this should help u a lot. Good luck it was hard test, but i only studied 2 days prior. u should try to study more.
