Hi Everyone, This is my second time posting today.The first was under another forum, but basically the same question. Can anyone give me advise on the pre-entrance exam? I am horrible in math and need to know how much math/algebra there is on the exam. I am four classes away from finishing my non-nursing classes, which I plan on finishing between now and the end of summer. I was hoping to start the part-time nursing program this fall at the Shadyside nursing school in Pittsburgh. If I have to take an algebra class too, I might not be able to start in the fall because at present time,there is no way that I can undertake another class due to the fact that I have four children and would probably lose my mind if I attempted it! So I'm trying to figure out if I might be able to pass the math without an algebra class. I would really appreciate any info/advise on this matter. I also wanted to know if there is anyone out there who has attended or is still attending Shadyside nursing school and what you think about it. I recently heard the school only accepts 50 part-time students each fall. Does anyone know if that is true? I surely hope it's not, because I can only attend part-time.
