I am in Platt's Lpn-RN program and will graduate Feb.08. I did there part-time 22 month long evening program, and actually drive 90 miles one way to attend 3 nights a week. Since this program is still fairly new for them it could probably be a little more organized, but the instructors are wonderful, and are currently all working on their doctorate. No generic professors here. The Eve 08 class has been told to be the most mature and brightest yet. Apparently there where some real fruit loops before in the last couple of classes. How the student's represent themselves is what makes a school reputable. The more people here about this program the harder it will be to get in and therefore weed out the idiots that should not be in nursing in the first place. I recommend Platt College on Memorial in OKC!!! Also in case some don't know basically in the part-time class 11 months is gen ed and 11 months nursing. If you have the gen ed in their program they will transfer your credit for a c or higher ,but if you have no credit you can take all your gen ed there. I went to Cameron University and could not get in the gen eds there, I would probably just now be getting into the nursing courses.
