  1. I am currently working as RN.. and planning on going back to school for my NP, however I have been having a lot of second thoughts.. about perhaps going back for PA program... I know this sounds HORRIBLE for any nurse... but the reason I feel this way, is because PA have more clinical as well as didactic experience. I was wondering if any more can help me answer my questions... while doing clinicals in NP program... can I request MORE clinical hours
  2. congratssss:yeah:
  3. i also heard that if your a NP.. and lets say work as an RN for a while.. during that time you still have to have NP malpractice as well as if you get sued.. you will be sued as an NP...... moral of the story, unless your planning on working as such (RN, NP) dont bother getting that advance license;)

hahhahahhahahha:bugeyes: well at least she was covering her every possibility by having all 3 men be there. these days (after watching jerry springer) nothing surprises me anymore. :) funy post!
  5. btw..... i mean like your own family member.. not someone in the hospital(just to be clear) :)
  6. ok, lets say a family member inquires on a particular problem.. and you say "its no big deal...keep doing what your doing" and than something horrible happens. can you be sued.. or even held accountable?

i cant even start to image what her pregnancy must have been like... OUCH:bowingpur
  8. this must be sooo difficult for you! but, like someone already mentioned, everything happens for a reason.. even if its a year(thats nothing in comparison to a life time in nursing!) i had a classmate with the similar situation, and honestly, they did the same thing. they did not allow her to attend any clinicals, and she had to sit out a semester, but when she came back..she was better than ever! do speak to them about alternatives thought, dont give up until they make final decision about your situation.
