I was recently laid off (about a week ago) from a great job, a job that paid well and allowed me to work at home. I've talked about being a nurse for quiet sometime. My question is has anyone completed the LVN program at Mt. San Jacinto College? How long is the wait to get into the program? I know it says they don't maintain a waitlist and you have to apply each semester, just want to see how long it usually takes. I figure I could become an LVN and eventually an RN. I noticed that that Riverside County Regional Medical Center has an LVN-RN 20/20 program at RCC. Has anyone done this? Basically I need to decide once and for all what I'm going to do. If I'm going to do this now is the time, but I don't have tons of time. I have three little girls to feed and just want to make sure I can take care of them and I want to be happy. I've always wanted to be a teacher, I've wanted to help kids since kindergarten. Teaching degree will take too long and I thought nursing might be the right fit. Thanks in advance for any help!!!
